Naples care · field notes

Ask for the whole bill, then the next bill.

Compare medicine prices with the full cost of care. Read introductory terms, ask about membership and tests, and check Medicare coverage for the exact treatment.

Ask for a written total for the first bill and the ongoing bill. Keep the visit fee, any membership, the medicine and any tests on separate lines. Ask what follows if the visit ends with no medicine prescribed.

Depending on the product, semaglutide treats diabetes or helps with weight loss; its brand names include Ozempic and Wegovy. Tirzepatide has these uses too, under the names Mounjaro and Zepbound. They act like a hormone: a natural chemical that carries messages in the body about appetite and blood sugar. These medicines are often grouped under the name GLP-1 drugs.

The part of a bill paid by the patient is called a copay.

These examples describe medicine costs, not a complete Naples care bill.

An introductory cash offer

The government listing showed a semaglutide (Ozempic) pen offer for new patients paying without insurance. A pen is a device for giving an injection. For eligible patients, certain lower-strength pens cost $199 per month for the first two monthly supplies. That means two months of medicine, rather than two injections. After that, lower-strength pens cost $349 per month and the highest-strength pen costs $499 per month. Checked September 26, 2026. Government listing and offer terms

Ask the pharmacy to match the written prescription to the price before paying. Ask whether you qualify for the starting offer. Add visit and test charges to get the whole bill.

An eligible Medicare programme

Medicare’s GLP-1 Bridge is temporary help paying for certain weight-loss medicines. Eligible people pay $50 for a monthly medicine supply. The programme begins July 1, 2026, and ends December 31, 2027. Checked September 26, 2026. Medicare’s Bridge details

The Bridge is for adults with Medicare drug coverage who meet detailed weight and health rules. A prescription and approval before the medicine is supplied are required. Usual Medicare drug coverage, rather than the Bridge, applies to people with type 2 diabetes. A person cannot use the Bridge during 2026 if their Medicare drug plan covered a GLP-1 medicine for them in 2026. Checked September 26, 2026. Read who qualifies for the Bridge

Ask your prescriber to check the full weight, health, drug-plan and medicine rules for you.

Coverage needs a separate check

Medicare drug plans may pay for these medicines when they treat a condition other than weight loss. Examples include type 2 diabetes or reducing heart risks in certain patients. A plan still has to agree to cover the exact medicine and reason for treatment. Checked September 26, 2026. Medicare’s weight-medicine explanation

Ask your plan about coverage for the condition being treated, using the exact name of the medicine.

Part D is Medicare’s prescription drug benefit. A subsidy is help with a bill.

Part D’s yearly limit on your own drug costs excludes the Bridge’s $50 payment each month. The payment stays the same even with help for people on low incomes. Checked September 26, 2026. Read the Bridge payment terms

Online weight-care services often charge a membership fee and bill separately for the medicine. Checked September 26, 2026.

The Ozempic starting offer described above has terms that run through December 31, 2026. The Zepbound and Mounjaro savings cards also end on that date. The terms do not promise the same savings after that date. Checked September 26, 2026.

These field notes guide a Naples care search; they are not a clinic and do not sell medicines.
