A good question can be a short one.
Check common claims about made-to-order medicines, numbers in government drug lists and online forms. Take plain questions about the treating person, the medicine and the plan to a visit.
If a phrase sounds reassuring, ask what it actually proves. Keep the answer with the medicine’s name and the proposed plan.
US medicine reviews are the job of the Food and Drug Administration. Its short name is FDA. Preparing medicine to order is called compounding.

Ask: “Is this medicine on the FDA’s shortage list? If it is not, why can it be made to order for me?”
Does “peptide” mean it will help my goal?
The name of a substance is a starting point for a question. Ask what the proposed medicine is meant to treat, what evidence supports that use and what other choices are available.
A useful follow-up is: “What might make you decide against this plan for me?” Write down the answer alongside the claimed benefit.
Can an online clinician see me while I am in Florida?
For routine online care in Florida, the treating person needs a Florida licence, a licence under an agreement between states that includes Florida, or Florida registration for online care from another state. Ask: “What permission do you have to treat me in Florida? What licence or registration number can I check?” A website name alone does not answer this.
